Profile
Felix Friedberger studied computer science at RWTH Aachen. He completed his studies in 2022 with a master of science degree. In addition to his studies, he worked as a student tutor. Having been employed as a working student at a travel data provider, Felix Friedberger was responsible for maintaining, analyzing and improving large data processing pipelines.
He has been working as a consultant at cirosec since August 2022 and has since developed a broad range of expertise: He performs complex penetration tests, such as for AI-based applications and SaaS environments, for instance, and has experience in red teaming, technical incident response exercises, tabletop exercises and purple teaming.
Moreover, he is part of cirosec’s incident response team, assists customers in dealing with diverse IT security incidents and carries out forensic analyses. Since 2024 he has been responsible for the internal CVE Numbering Authority (CNA), authorizing cirosec to issue CVE identifiers independently.
