Security in AWS Cloud Environments

In this course, our experienced trainers will introduce you to security-relevant features of the AWS cloud. They will also present configuration possibilities and measures for the administration and secure operation of AWS cloud environments.

Training Content

Our trainers will discuss the specific risks in AWS cloud environments and present measures to minimize these risks. This concerns the following aspects:

Secure setup pf an AWS infrastructure
Securing the cloud
Permissions management
Logging
Serverless computing

In addition, we will show typical organizational and technical challenges of the secure operation of an AWS cloud environment and discuss possible solutions.

For the duration of the training, each participant will be provided with a training environment in AWS to put the contents taught into practice.

At the end of the training, the participants will have a thorough understanding of possible threats and will be able to efficiently implement the recommendations on the protection of AWS cloud environments in the future.

Requirements:
Basic knowledge of the general usage of the command line and of network basics are of advantage

The training is conducted in German by experienced trainers. They work as consultants and can thus complement the course with comprehensive and recent practical experience.

You will receive CPE Points for participating in the training. The training takes 16 hours. You will get a certificate after having completed the training.
